2024 Davinci resolve grab still greyed out

I also couldn't play the files and the video was greyed out. I went back to previous projects that had worked and found the same issue. Here's a screenshot. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the display drivers (at Radeon 21.3.1 now), made sure windows was up to date, and ran the audio, chipset, LAN, and VGA installers from MSI.. V string

HDR out of Resolve needs the Studio version, unless you're just doing a straight 2020/P3 conversion. I'm only able to see that checkbox enabled on my Studio system, and not in the Free version. DVR seems to export stills as "video levels", not full levels. You can chek it reimporting the still to DVR, then right click on clip attributes on the source image on the media pool, and change data levels to "video", then "full". I was able to correct this by changing my display resolution from 3840 x 2160 down to 1920 x 1080 and the scale from 250% to 100%. It's only Davinci Resolve 17.2.1 (free version) has the problems same as yours (stated above), on my PC. Hm, ok. How do you get a slightly earlier version of Davinci 17 free version btw?
